Project Steps

1. This design was etched in stages. The technique allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously. Additionally, it enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
2. After preparing the glass, position the large corn in the middle of the glass. Beginning with the letters in the middle of the words and working outwards, curve the letters around the top and the bottom of the corn. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the glass.
3. Position the small corn randomly around the words and big corn. Add and etch them one at a time until the desired amount is achieved.
