Project Steps

1. This design was etched in stages. The technique enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit. It also allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously.
2. This design also used a masking technique which allows for the selective use of certain parts of a stencil in specific locations.
3. After preparing the glass, center the Pegasus stencil on the side of the cylinder.
4. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the Pegasus onto the glass.
5. After etching, thoroughly wipe down the glass. Position 2 of the star sparkle stencils around the Pegasus on the glass. Please note - to etch both sides of the Pegasus at once, two stencil sheets are required.
6. Use the etching cream, as before, to add the star sparkle stars to the glass.
