Preparation and Usage Starting Skills

Project Steps

Please note- only true colored glass can be etched with cream. Glass colored with coatings or tinted paints should be etched with sand. Removing the tape or stencil can cause the coating to chip or peel.
After preparing the glass, choose the desired decorative stencil and place on a slight angle near the brim of the glass.
Position the letters on either side of the existing stencil, continuing the angle to make an arch with the word.
Follow the etching cream directions to etch the design onto the glass.
Optional- clean the glass and shade in the etched areas with the colored pencils.
