Project Steps

• Tall Drinking Glass- Run the floral border stencil around the glass 1/3 of the way down from the brim. Place the R and I centered above the floral border before adding the remaining letters. Place a flower stencil centered under the border stencil before adding the other 2 to either side.
• Short Glass-Place the large butterfly up at the brim of the glass. Place the R and I centered bellow the butterfly before adding the remaining letters. Place the butterfly border under the letters.
• Diagonal Spring- With a ruler and China pencil, draw a diagonal line across the back of a coaster. Place the R and I on the front of the coaster, centered on the line before adding the remaining letters. Place the floral border above and bellow the letters. 2 stencil sheets are required to do this design all at once, otherwise, etch in stages.
• Sideways Spring- Place the R and I centered along the side of the coaster before adding the remaining letters. Run the floral border under the letters and add the large butterfly sideways to the border.
• Fly Away Spring- Begin with the G in the bottom right corner of the coaster and add the remaining letters in reverse along the bottom of the glass. Place the tall skinny plant at the end of the letters and the wide plant above the letters on the right. Situate the butterfly above the plants, on an angle.
