Project Steps
- PLATE- After preparing the glass, draw a centerline down the back of the plate. See the centerline tutorial if necessary. Place the lobster in the middle of the plate along the centerline.
- With a hobby knife, trim the stencil around the tail of the lobster and cut the sheet music stencil in half. Place a section of sheet music on either side of the bottom half of the lobster, as shown.
- Place the S an inch bellow the lobster, along the centerline. Working outward and on an upward curve, add the remaining letters for lobster. See the lettering tutorial if necessary. Place the musical note and the C, on a curve, on either side of the centerline, just above the lobster. Add the R and K. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the plate.
- WINE GLASS- After preparing the glass, place the lobster in the middle of the wine glass. Position a musical note on either side of the bottom of lobster. Trim out any stencil under the notes as necessary to get them in close to the lobster. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the design onto the glass.
- BEER MUG- After preparing the glass, draw a centerline down the back of the mug. See the centerline tutorial if necessary. Place the lobster in the middle of the mug along the centerline with a treble clef on either side.
- Position the S under the tail, on the centerline. Working outward and on an upward curve, add the remaining letters for lobster. See the lettering tutorial if necessary. Place the musical note and the C, on a curve, on either side of the centerline, just above the lobster. Add the R and K. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the mug.
