'Tis the SEAson- Sea Sleigh!
Oh, what fun it is to design with Santa's Seahorse Sleigh! Sail this sleigh all about the briny blue with the Holiday Baubles and Under the Sea Over N Over Glass Etching Stencils and our Armour Etch Glass Etching Cream. We used a slide top bottle to capture this sensational seascape but it would go swimmingly on a tall hurricane, a trifle dish or a fish bowl. Be a salty seaside Santa this year with gifts to rock their reef.

Project Steps
- This design was etched in stages. The technique allows you to use a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously. It also allows stencil images in the design to be in closer proximity that the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
- Begin by placing the word SEAson as pictured. The S should be approximately 1 inch up from the bottom of the bottle and on a gentle upward angle for the rest of the word to follow. Place the coral border above the word with the sleigh and reindeer border above that. Cover the reindeer with masking tape so they will not be etched.
- Follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the glass.
- Place the seahorse in front of the sleigh, above the coral reef, and on an angle. Use the etching cream as before to etch it onto the glass. Repeat this 3 or more times to get the desired number of seahorses onto the glass.
- Above Santa's sleigh, place the words "Tis the". Continue the coral reef on an angle, up and around the bottle careful not to overlap the words. Use the etching cream to etch these onto the glass.
- When the coral spiral is complete, fill in any gaps at the top of the bottle with sea stars and other sea stencils.
- Under the SEAson word, wrap the coral border around the bottom of the glass. No angle this time. Fill any gaps between the end of the border and the word with any sea stencil you like. Use the Etching cream as before to etch all these onto the glass.
