Project Steps
- Wash vase with hot, soapy dish detergent, rinse & dry well. Next clean area where stencils will go with glass cleaner just before applying them.
- Apply the card hand stencil close to the bottom of the vase.
- Cut 2 small diamonds from masking tape (optional) and apply vertically down the center of the first card (you can also use the diamond from the stencil sheet).
- Apply the man eyes with the heavy eyebrows just over the top of the cards, overlapping stencil edges.
- Cover exposed areas on the face of the vase with masking tape, overlapping all edges of tape and stencils.
- Apply Armour Etch Glass Etching Cream to the stencils.
- Holding the vase upside down, rinse off all the etch cream, be careful not to let the etch cream and water run inside the vase. Remove tape and stencils and rinse again.
- Clean with glass cleaner and dry completely.
- Make a template from paper of a hand, about 1 square. Trace to foam sheet and cut with scissors or craft knife.
- Glue to bottom of vase over bottom of the cards (see picture).
