Project Steps
- This design was etched in stages.The technique allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously. Additionally, it enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
- After preparing the glass, position the snowman face in the center of the mug. Place the desired facial features in the snowman head and pres down firmly. Place the bow tie under the face.Follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the glass.
- Looking through the back of the glass, position the hat stencil over the snowman head on front. Place a reverse star stencil inside the hat and other stars outside the hat around the snowman. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the glass.
- Attach embellishments as desired.
