Project Steps
- This design was etched in stages.The technique allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously. Additionally, it enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
- After preparing the glass, place the banner and empty frame stacked over each other in the middle of the ruler. Cover all unwanted parts of the stencil securely with masking tape. Place the desired letters and numbers into the frames beginning in the middle and working outward. Press the letters down securely and follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the ruler.
- Use the hover and press method to position the trophy and celebration horn onto the ruler. Use the etching cream, as before, to etch these onto the ruler.
