Project Steps
- This design was etched in stages.The technique allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously and it enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
- After preparing the glass, begin with the words. Place the princess stencil an inch down from the brim with the diva above it. Place the I Heart on an angle bellow it and the letters ME as pictured. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch these onto the wine glass.
- Looking through the back of the glass, place the crowns as close to the words as possible. Add as many other design elements as can fit at one time. Use the etching cream to add these to the design.
- Continue the process of adding and etching with the cream until you have all the design elements etched onto the wine glass.
