Preparation and Usage Starting Skills

Project Steps

Please note- to etch the entire dish and bowls simultaneously requires more than one sheet of each stencil. Otherwise, etch the project in stages.
Using a ruler or measuring tape, mark the center of each side panel of the dish.
After preparing the glass, place a three butterfly section of the butterfly banner stencil on every other side panel of the plate. Center the stencil section under the mark. Use a craft knife to separate the banner into two pieces or fold the extra banner part out of the way.
One the remaining four sides, place a butterfly centered under the mark followed by small hibiscus on either side.
Turn the bowls upside down. Place a large hibiscus stencil on the bottom of each bowl.
Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the designs onto the plate and bowls.
